ANOTHER GIANT GONE.
Bud Hogan, the Tennessee negro giant, died last week at his home in Gallatin. He was eight feet nine inches tall. His hands were twelve 1 inches long and his feet sixteen inches. The first frost of the season fell Monday night and was heavy enough to kill vegetation. There • was also a considerable fall of fik v . on the range Sunday night.
