NEW-LONDON, Conn., Aug. 16.—Clarence Bartogan, a young man from Norwich, while on an exploring expedition yesterday over the great gravel plateau at Thamesville, on the west bank of the Thames River, found the skeleton of an Indian giant 6 feet 3 inches in height.
