SKELETONS OF GIANT MEN UNEARTHED – (A.A.P.) Skeletons of what are described as “giant men,” believed to be 2,000 years old, were unearthed by German prisoners digging a site for a garage near Avignon. The skeletons were nearly all 7ft. tall. The Germans damaged them, but archaeologists are replacing them.
