Orinoco – Giant Cannibals

AN EXPLORER’S STORY

NEW YORK, May 12. Doctor Hamilton Rice’s party has returned from the exploration of the Parapara river in Orinoco and reports a battle with giant cannibals – ferocious, savage, and almost white in color. Dr. Rice believes it is the first time that these cannibals have met whites since 1763 when a Spanish exploring party met them.
