Dutch explorer Jacob Le Maine sailed through South America in 1615, leaving a map of the Puerto Deseado area in Argentine Patagonia. In the cartographic explanations, a strange detail stands out: he describes Point H as the place “where they found the burial site of a giant, whose bones measured between ten and eleven feet long”, that is, more than three meters.
