Cuyahoga County, Giant footprint In Solid Granite
FIERCE GIANTS LIVED IN CUYAHOGA COUNTY
A Station Agent Near Akron Unearths Skeleton of Prehistoric Man.
Akron Ohio, December 12. Evidence has just been secured which positively shows that the Cuyahoga valley was once inhabited by a giant race of people. B. Howe, station agent at Ira, seven miles north in the valley, has unearthed a rare collection of implements of mound builders. The discovery was made in a ban of molding sand. There are several of these banks in the valley and also many ancient forts that will now be explored.
The find consists of a portion of a skeleton of a man who, was over eight feet tall. The jawbone is fully twice as large as an ordinary human being’s jawbone. Near the skeleton was also found a stone ax weighing 14 pounds, rare copper beads and fine specimens of copper wedges, and decorated pottery. Howe has in his possession 1,500 stone implements.

Very Large Foot Print in Solid Granite Giant footprint
It’s one heck of a climb to see the Giant footprint; more than a thousand feet up a rugged mountain in the Cleveland National Forest. And James Snyder’s house sits right at the bottom. “I go out of my way to make a slip trail where nobody else has been and I was actually looking for gold,” said Snyder (the discoverer). That was back in February 2002 . But instead of finding gold on Gowers Mountain, Snyder found a giant fossilized footprint, at least it looks like one, embedded in solid granite. The footprint was found in what becomes a creek bed during the rainy season. It looks as though something big crossed the creek a long time ago leaving its footprint behind. What made it and when? Who knows….Granite is supposed to have formed over 1 billion years ago. No doubt scientists will try to argue that it just looks like a footprint as they do for every one of these types of anomalies. For science, if not fraud it’s the only acceptable answer. See Also:Evolution: The Stones Cry Out; Human Footprints in Rock Supposedly Million of Years Old. Giant footprint

Hi there! I simply would like to give a huge thumbs up for the nice info you have right here on this post. I will be coming back to your weblog for extra soon.
Looks like this one is in Cleveland Nat’l Forrest near Escondido, CA. Not Cleveland, OH. Oh well.
Studying by way of your nice content material, will assist me to complete so at times.
I would love to come check out this fossilized footprint. Can you put me in contact with James Snyder?
Fossil footprints are preserved in sedimentary rocks. Granite is the wrong kind of rock to preserve footprints in, since it is recooled from a molten state. The track is undoubtedly an artwork carved by humans in an inappropriate kind of rock to find tracks in.
All granite is not igneous.

Fossils are usually formed from soft sedimentary mud that hardens over time from pressure and/or heat. Granite is formed directly from volcanic activity. Fossils are not found in granite because it is only soft when it is in a molten lava state. Anything pressing into it would burn up quickly. Either this is not granite or it’s a carved depression in the surface of the rock.
Not all granite is igneous, it was once believed that was the case. Not any more.

…Granite is igneous. Do we assume this guy was strolling through some ancient magma flow, then? Ouch.
Good point, If anyone says this makes it impossible is wrong. In fact fire walkers do similar feats. The molten part may have been quite shallow. A creature of this size (not fully human) may have resistances we do not.
We are talking about one step. The creature only needed to make an impression, which he would have. Also he did not have to be functional or survive the encounter.
Next there are people that work with molten material (lead for example) the way lead is tested is by wetting the finger, then dipping the bare finger into the molten lead. This feat seems impossible, irrational, and defies logic, but its true.

Not sedimentary or S-type granite. This is not igneous, even accredited degree sporting geologist get this wrong. In fact, many informational websites, textbooks and curriculum get this wrong. Thanks for bringing this up so i could address that.
…Granite is igneous…..?
In fact Granite is not igneous as was once supposed. Granite comes in two forms. The first is the harder of the two from which most of granite bedrock is made. This type of granite was never under a molten state and is found accross the earth. It contains radio isotopic polonium halo imprints within the granite which have had half lives of less then 90 seconds and all of which are completely round. These polonium halos are found in this granite in every sample no matter where in the world they are found. When melted and recooled, the structure of the rock changes and it becomes another type of mineral and is no longer granite neither contains any characteristics of granite. Therefore in modern science we know that granite was never molten. …The second type of granite is sedimentary granite which comes from the former type of granite but has been pulverized to a finite level several times larger then that of silica or sand. This is where we find footprints of man or animals. It hardens into concrete much the same way sandstone hardens from compressed sand, therebye preserving the footprints.
Although most science and text books still teach that granite is igneous, this was scientifically proven to be incorrect nearly 30 years ago. Published periodicals were challenged, but all lab created chalenges up til recent times have failed to be able to reproduce granite which contain any circular radio polonium halos which are the authenticating indicator of true granite. Information can be review on this subject by viewing work fro Dr. Robert Gentry in his books and periodicals. This information thoroughly explains why we are now finding many imprints in reconstituted compressed sedimentary granite which can never be found in rock which were once molton.
I’m doing a tv show about mysteries in Cleveland National Forest just like this. Do you have any further information about this footprint and/or could you put me in touch with James Snyder?
Thanks
Penelope
Penelope,
I don’t have any more information on this subject at the moment. Contact me at greaterancestors@yahoo.com. We would like to do some promotion through your show. I may be able to find out more but i would first like to talk with you about your project. thanks.

since every one of these human footprints is deemed by science to be just an anomaly or a fraud , i so much hope that no laws apply that can hurt me if i can sell the location of one of these type of things and have it removed to safety before someone vandalizes it like i have seen many other times before. I have read the laws on dinosaur prints, but non on human.
First i would say you need to distinguish field scientist from government educators, big difference. If their authority is based on courses they have taken and now work in a teaching position thats not a scientist. Be sure you are not removing it from a State Park. How big a foot print is it, i may want to replicate it once you have it removed if you dont mind.
