Burning Mirrors Manuscript

This is yet another example of a manuscript of a heat ray device used to set ships from a distance to combust into flames.
It is said that there was a quick burst of light and the ships wood was set to blaz instantly.
It is a disservice to call this a mirror, a mirror is the simplest of reflective not amplification of heat. Even heat ray may not describe these ancient plasma lasers.
