Mammoth Skeleton Exhumed.

PORTSMOUTH, O., Oct. 1. – A skeleton of a prehistoric giant has been exhumed at the old fort in Kentucky, 12 miles below this city. It is 8 feet in stature and 4 feet across the shoulders. Several silver ornaments were found with it.
